Comments/Compliments/Complaints: Lots of compliments on my bag, it's a beautiful bag I must say.
Blargh. I felt like total ass on Friday, not like in a sick way but in a stupid brain sort of way. I was wicked pmsing and feeling ugly and fat and gross and sweaty and just complete ick. I hated this dress, this outfit, my hair, the fact that I had to leave the house, etc. I made it through my workday and came home and made poor man's crabcakes- with zucchini instead of crab. Yum. I also made more corn relish and a truffled vinaigrette cucumber and lettuce salad. We ate dinner and watched a bit of television and then I decided to work on unpacking my boxes of books, some from four years ago, some from packing up a shelf to give access for pipes to be run. I put on the best of Otis Redding album I bought last week and started unpacking. Our friend and contractor, Matt, built us this shelf in the wall above our bed- Mr. Michael's brilliant idea. It is now the proud owner of a bunch of my books and a few other random items. I dig it. I had to climb a ladder over and over and managed to kink my neck. Awesome. I was still happy with the outcome, kinked neck and all. Check it:
