Dress: Red and White Striped Mini Dress

Year or Era Purchased: Spring 2007

Price: $? I would bet around $10-$15? 

Accessories: Jeans and galoshes for half the day, black tights, black socks with white stripes and black boots for the other half, Phillies hat and cardigan for all of it. Oh and a winter coat, really?!? Ugh. 

Hair and Makeup:  side pigtails and a hat, usual makeup and blueish eyeshadow

Day:  

Another stupid rainy, cold day in the middle of October makes me sad.  Blech.  Good thing it started off by watching two episodes of Project Runway with Jody.  I worked for a few hours and then went to Memphis Taproom to watch several innings of the Phillies game and drink a pint of PBC Joe, coffee beer, mmmm.  Then we came home to watch the last two depressing innings while I made samiches for three and served them with last night's soup.   After Michael and I caught up on more television and he started our first fire of the year in another attempt to stick it to PGW, so far it is working and the house feels much nicer.  I am so over this weather, for reals. I also feel super lame for my Friday night activities but oh well.  

Today's outfits were again Phillies inspired but that didn't help so much.  The dress is super summery so I made it wintery by first wearing it with jeans but they got wet while I worked in the rain so when I came home I changed into the pictured outfit.  I don't really love this dress so much and I was about 15lbs. slighter when I bought it so I'm kind of glad I wore it with a cardigan to cover it up and the stripes aren't super flattering so again, glad it got mostly covered and I sort of got it over with.  Yup.  I think I'll go read in bed now.  Man I'm exciting tonight.
