Day:

So today was weird because it was almost or maybe it was seventy degrees outside! And it's November!!! Awesome, except that I have several long sleeve dresses in the mix still and I've been saving them for the last few weeks.  Oh well, I enjoyed the gorgeous weather and will while it lasts.  Today's dress is one of the dresses that I bought at that crazy Sazz Vintage warehouse event I went to on day twenty-nine.  Apparently there is going to be another one this weekend.  Dare I go and have a look see, they just got 800 dresses!  Yeesh! Nov.13-15. Wholesale Vintage, no minimum! 2628 Martha St. Phila. 12-5p.

So anyway about today's dress.  I so don't love it.  I do remember loving it when I bought it because it is so different than anything I own and it had shoulder pads that I promptly cut out. I tried to play up the navy theme with the boots, socks and belt.  Even though I didn't love it I got more compliments today than I have in a while.  It's always funny how that works.  To be fair I was wearing my awesome vintagey looking lightweight coat and it really brought it all together/hid the dress.

Today was boring and I was exhausted and hurty for most of it.  My arms, back and neck ached with muscle pain and I was just tired all day.  I worked and went to target for boring stuff like coffee and cat food.  I came home and made another batch of the mushroom soup I made a few weeks back and this time I doubled the mushrooms and increased a few other amounts.  I served three boys soup and bread and butter and we ate while we watched an old episode of Long Way Down.  I then proceeded to lazy it up on the couch for hours catching up on girly television shows and snuggling with my cat Flea.   'Twas not a bad night at all but I got nothing done.  Looks like the rest of this week and weekend will need to be in super duper get stuff done mode.  Cross your fingers for me, my house is still gross and my life is still a hot mess.

Waitaminute here! Is this really a dress or is it a shirt-belt-skirt?! This ain't 99daysofdressesandaskirt! Let's stick to the program.

It's a dress, all one piece. I just think it looks like two pieces so that's how I described it. The belt was not with the dress when I bought it.
