Day:
Today's dress was my New Year's Eve dress last year.  I bought it 40% off at Express like the day before New Year's.  It doesn't totally fit right and requires a safety pin on the spaghetti straps and it's not for the modest, which is why I've sort of been avoiding it and why I chose to wear it on a Saturday.  I thought I was going to see a band but those plans changed so I ended up super dressed up for a low key night. Ha. I paired it with a big black belt and fun tights and one of my favorite cardigans from Target.  I was going to wear leg warmers so I put on socks to keep warm but then I liked the way the socks and mary janes looked with the tights.

Today was pretty lazy.  To avoid a hangover I didn't get out of bed until after 11AM.  It worked.  I lazed about and then started on a late breakfast while Michael headed out to pick up our new DVR cable box. He stood in line for so long that I was able to make red bliss potatoes, veggie sausage and bacon, rye toast and cheddar, veggie sausage, artichoke and onion omelets and watch this week's episode of Top Chef before he got home.  We ate and then got dressed thinking one of my destinations would be to see a band for Spano's birthday.  After I got ready I got a text that he was skipping the band due to his ear infection and we were to watch Up instead.  I didn't feel like changing and had pretty immediate plans to go to a craft show thinger with some lady friends so I just left on this way too dressy dress.   I met up with Sue, Rica, Georgia, Katie and Megan and we headed to the Philadelphia Independent Craft Market.  I got a new dress (a pink and navy striped eighties style dress) and a few Christmas gifts.  I could've bought way more but I showed restraint.

I came home and in a bit Michael and I headed out to the Foodery to purchase fancy beers.  We went to Mike and Jody's since it's Mike's birthday and hung out with them and our friend Sean.  We enjoyed libations and conversation and Jody made dinner of a baked vodka sauce pasta with veggie Italian sausage.  Yum.  We watched Up and it was just fabulous.  I really loved it.  Now I will sleep and love every second of it.

I liked your fancy dress :) I also just wanted to tell you that Up is one of my new all time favorite movies. We watched it a couple weeks ago and haven't been able to stop talking like Doug.
