Day:

Today was pretty great.  We woke up on time and everything went really smoothly.  I wore this dress because I knew we'd be headed out to dinner to celebrate the birthday of my sister-in-law.  I find it to be one of my "classy" dresses.  Class is something I usually lack.  I know when to bring it out but most of the time I just can't be bothered with it.  I originally bought this to wear to our friends Cheryl and Jeremy's wedding and have also worn it for holidays and even just for brunch.  I like it.  It has a cool bustline that is very 1950's.  The pattern doesn't photograph super well though.

I started work early and got all of my jobs done on time or early even, go me! I am so going to kick this time management thing right in its arse this year!  I went to CVS to get my prescription filled before heading home for a quick change and some added makeup.  Get this, I now have a prescription for three months at a time for my birth control pill and because insurance companies make no sense to me it is cheaper for me to buy three packs at a time than it was to buy one pack with a once a month prescription.  Weirdos.  Whatever, I'll take the $208 per year savings thank you.

I went home and and got gussied up with some fishnets and lipstick and eyeliner and then headed out to pick up Michael in center city so we could go meet up with his Mom, Sister and her boyfriend for his sister, Nicole's, birthday.  We went to The Big Easy Saloon and it was pretty fabulous.  I had vegetarian jambalaya and Michael had blackened tofu.  Yum!  God I love how easy it is to eat at restaurants and be vegetarian these days.  Thank you chefs! We gave Nicole her presents and then headed out to the car to have cake,  it was pretty amazing to light candles and sing with five people in the Element.

Michael and I headed home and now I'm enjoying a glass of wine and will head off to bed with hopes of another well timed day tomorrow.   Lovesbyes.
