Day:

I stayed up way too late last night and because of that slept until noon today, missing a large chunk of the snowfall.  I finally got out of bed and got bundled, too bundled, and headed out to shovel the twenty plus inches of snow that had fallen overnight.   Michael and I worked quickly and efficiently and I only cursed the snow about eight times.  I spent the next few hours packing up some books, making the components of a macaroni and cheese bar and getting clean and dressed.   We headed over to Spano and Jody's for a yummy dinner.  Jody made baked potato soup and it was so good, like unbelievably good.  I love soup.  I made penne pasta, cheese sauce, kale, swiss chard, toasted almonds and pine nuts, and sauteed mushrooms and brought pyrex dishes so we could each build our ideal mac n' cheeses.  To add to the gluttony Jody made brownies with cream cheese frosting.  I am very full now.  We watched Zombieland, the first episode of the new Kids in the Hall and played Mario Wii.  It was a really lovely night.  I'm debating if we should walk over to KFN for England Belongs to Twee tonight...Hmm.

This dress was a recent purchase.  I find that I can go into Super Thrift and purchase mulitple dresses even if I've already been there once that week.  That's some serious inventory.  I wasn't totally in love with this dress until I added the belt, that's when I knew.

I thought about that soup all night. So good. I'm kind of ecstatic that we have leftovers :)
